The Not-So-Nudie Beach

June 12, 2024October 3, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
Noah and Gigi's tales of having frequented the nude beach ruin Adam's appetite for lunch (and beyond).

Much like his ex-wife Gigi, Noah refuses to even consider that there comes a time and a place to no longer discuss one’s time at the ol’ nudie beach… and certainly an audience that doesn’t wish to hear about such things.

October Beach Day

June 12, 2024October 1, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
Noah and Ruth discuss going to the beach on an early October day.

Nothing like an early fall day at the beach… especially if you go there on snow tires.

Winter Tires

June 12, 2024September 30, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
Noah is getting Glen to put the snow tires on the car at Ruth's insistence due to local highway rules... even though it's during a late heat wave.

Where I live there are stretches of highway requiring snow tires (or the M+S all-seasons) as of October 1 every year… even if we have an autumn heat wave.

Bugs as a Love Language

June 12, 2024September 29, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
Noah is teasing Ursula about her classmate who put bugs in her hair.

Do you want bugs in your coffee, Noah? Because this is how you get bugs in your coffee. And your mother-in-law will do it gladly.

Young Love

June 12, 2024September 28, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
Ursula complains about boys and bugs at school while Glen and Noah reminisce.

Worms, huh? Noah’s got all the secrets to romantic success.

Ursula Hates Fractions

June 12, 2024September 27, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
Ursula refuses to learn fractions, though Noah can think of a couple real-world cases of when they're necessary.

I suppose Ursula’s not planning to learn to cook either, because I sure have to know quarters and halves to make dinner.

Escape from School

June 12, 2024September 26, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
Ursula, Noah, and Ruth are sitting around the table in the morning and discussing why Ursula has to go to school and Noah doesn't.

There goes Noah, getting himself in trouble with Ruth yet again…

Boring Grown-Up Saturday Night Stuff

June 12, 2024September 24, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
Noah and Ruth were just about ready to start getting frisky on the sofa when Ursula emerges from her room, having decided to argue about her bedtime.

I think we can see why Ursula only has the one younger sibling.

Noah’s New Stage Poses

June 12, 2024September 23, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
As Ruth gets ready for bed, Noah is getting ready for his next gig and wants feedback on his stage poses.

Noah can never understand why Ruth asks him such silly questions.

Lacemaking With Ruth

June 12, 2024September 22, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
Adam is learning to make bobbin lace from Ruth and being gleeful to have escaped bass duty.

Careful, Adam: bobbin lace is just the gateway drug. Next she’ll be pushing Irish crochet. Eventually, she’ll get you hooked on the hard stuff like needlelace.
