Ruth, hands on hips, tells Ursula, wearing her dinosaur costume, “You’re not wearing that to church!”
Ursula replies, “But Mommy, didn’t God make the dinosaurs?”
Ruth says, “So?”
Ursula grins and explains, “So won’t He be glad to see one show up to church?”
This doesn’t work with Ruth, who tells her, “Go. Change. Now.” and Ursula sulks and groans while walking back to her room.
Right then, Noah comes up wearing his Easter Bunny costume, prompting Ruth to say again, “You’re not wearing that to church!”
Noah replies, “But Ruthie, didn’t God make the Easter Bunny?”
