October Beach Day

Noah and Ruth discuss going to the beach on an early October day.
Ursula’s not gonna be thrilled about missing cartoons to go outside.

Nothing like an early fall day at the beach… especially if you go there on snow tires.

(Where the Cartoonist lives, there was a late summer/early fall heat wave and it was 26C this weekend.)

Comic description

In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of today’s cartoon:

Noah is making a salad for lunch and Ruth comes up to him and says, “It’s so nice and warm; we should go to the beach after lunch!”

Noah thinks, “Yes, let’s drive to the beach on newly installed snow tires.” However, he instead says, “Sure, you get the baby ready and I’ll wrangle Ursula.”

Ruth then says, “It’s our last chance to go to the beach this year.” Noah thinks, “Speak for yourself, I’ll be there on Monday when you’re at work.” He simply says, “Exactly.”
