Merry Christmas!

February 7, 2024December 24, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
Ursula is kneeling on the floor next to Grandma Agnes' Christmas tree while baby Valerie plays with the discarded wrapping paper from the opened presents and Agnes sits in a chair drinking cocoa. Ursula asks Agnes, "Grandma, how come Santa's tags have your writing on them?" Agnes concocts some BS answer: "Well, Santa's very busy with delivering presents so he doesn't have time to fill out all the tags." Ursula next asks, "Why don't the elves write the tags?" and Agnes tells her "Elves can't read and write, dear." Ursula counters, "That's not what Granny Thorsen says."

  Merry Christmas, all!

Pizza and Beer Again

June 12, 2024September 14, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
Every so often, Ruth gets a glimpse into Noah having the harder job at home... but just a glimpse.

Ruth’s students might have thrown paper airplanes and even spitballs, but they probably didn’t barf on her or ask to throw knives.

Back to School, part 1

April 17, 2024August 29, 2022 by Pyra Draculea
Ruth is looking forward to going back to work as a teacher.

You’d almost think Noah suggested this fashion designer game to Ursula…
