Trade Ya!

Adam tricks Ursula into taking his place in the band... never mind that she can't play bass.
Quick thinking and quick on his feet.

Ursula really should ask more questions when her brothers are seemingly willing to give her what she wants so easily.

Comic text

In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of the comic:

Noah’s band are rehearsing in the garage when Ursula comes running in, saying “If Mommy asks, I’m not here!” Confused, Noah asks her, “What’s wrong?” and kneels down to her level as she sits on the floor and complains, “She’s trying to make me learn to make lace!” Noah replies, “So?” to which Ursula retorts, “So I get enough learning at school without Mommy shoving more into my valuable cartoon-watching time!”

Sensing an opportunity, Adam bends down and says, “Tell you what, sis: let’s trade. You play here and I’ll go make lace with your mom.” Ursula is thrilled and says, “OK.” Adam then bolts out of the garage yelling, “No givesies-backsies!” as Noah yells at him, “Hey! Get back here! Practice isn’t over yet!”
