It’s December and Noah’s already busy making cookies for Christmas. He also muses on Ursula’s future and talks about price negotiations for band gigs.
Noah has come down with the dreaded Man Cold, thanks to Ruth’s niece. Meanwhile Ruth’s gone to Agnes & Frank’s in an attempt to avoid catching it herself.
Noah talks about Remembrance Day and remembers the time Duke let him tag along on a hunting trip… where Noah was in charge of packing out the empties.
Ursula still hasn’t told Noah what her costume is and he’s going nuts trying to figure it out so he can coordinate his own costume with hers.
On a recent date night with Ruth, Noah gets to check out some competition for his U2 tribute band. He also contemplates what to do after tonight’s date night.
Noah talks about Thanksgiving, muses on his mother-in-law Agnes’ terrible cooking, and recounts some of her social climbing schemes and machinations.
Noah is exhausted after days in the kitchen making pear butter, pear cookies, and pear everything dealing with the Pear-pocalypse.
Noah schemes to get Ursula to take up an interest in music by any means necessary… even if it means harnessing his mom’s powers of the guilt trip.
With Noah continuing to shirk his cartoon work duties, the Cartoonist calls in the big (Nerf) guns to sort him out.
