In the Principal’s Office

Ursula’s sent to the principal’s office… any resemblance between Miss Butcher and a much-loathed principal of the Cartoonist’s past is strictly coincidental.
As if there’s any newspaper jobs now, let alone by the time Ursula grows up… then again, there is still a (small) demand for horseshoe fitters…

Ursula’s sent to the principal’s office… any resemblance between Miss Butcher and a much-loathed principal of the Cartoonist’s past is strictly coincidental.

Comic description

In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of today’s cartoon:

We see a closed door reading “PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE – MISS BUTCHER”. Through the door, we hear Miss Butcher asking, “Why would you think making mean cartoons of your classmates is OK?”

Ursula rolls her eyes and explains, “That’s what cartoonists do!”

Miss Butcher, a shrill-looking birdfaced woman with a bad buzzcut, yells, “Since when and where is that true?!?”

Unintimidated, Ursula says, “Well, all the newspapers, for one.”
