Noah never met a silly costume or a holiday he didn’t embrace whole-heartedly… much to Ursula’s chagrin.
Still, the paper bag is a bit unnecessary, as we can be sure that all her school friends know Noah’s her dad by now.

We see Ursula wearing a paper bag over her head with holes for her eyes and ponytails. Noah, out of frame, tells her, “Ursula, take that silly thing off.”
Despite the paper bag, we can tell Ursula is scowling as she replies, “Not ’til you take yours off!”
Next, we see Noah growling as he says, “My outfit’s not silly!” Ursula groans and then we see Noah is wearing a gigantic heart costume as he tells her, “Wait, I gotta go say hi to your mom.”
Noah catches Ruth in the hallway as she is going into her classroom and he presents her with a bouquet of roses and says, “Hi Mrs. Thorsen” in a sing-songy voice.
