Young Love

Ursula complains about boys and bugs at school while Glen and Noah reminisce.
“Live bait” – nice little reference to Loverboy’s “Notorious,” if I do say so myself.

Worms, huh? Noah’s got all the secrets to romantic success.

(And a rare case of seeing Noah in a neutral color, even if only from the waist down.)

Comic text

In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of the comic:

Noah and his buddy Glen are sitting on the sofa having a beer when a scowling Ursula stomps in from school. Noah asks, “How was school?” and Ursula tells him, “Jeremy put bugs in my hair!” Glen smirks and asks, “Is Jeremy your little boyfriend?” Ursula makes a sour face and yells, “Eww, no! I hate him!” to which Glen replies, “That’s what they all say… at first.”

Ursula sticks out her tongue and says, “Gross! What’s with boys and bugs anyway?” Noah, grinning, explains, “It’s how we show our love.” Ursula then asks him, “Eww… so did you stick bugs in Mommy’s hair?” Noah tells her, “Bugs are for amateurs. I went with worms instead.”
