Noah’s a man on a dressmaking mission, no matter what complaints Ursula has.
PS: it should be noted that Ursula really doesn’t have mind giving Ruth presents, it’s just that she doesn’t see why it has to impinge on her valuable cartoon watching time to do so when Noah could (and in her opinion should) go fetch things himself and just sign her name to the tag.

Comic description
In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of today’s cartoon:
Ursula is still trying to avoid getting dragged into the fabric store even as Noah is reaching for the door. She groans, “Ugh… Daddy, we already made Mother’s Day presents in school.”
Noah replies, “That’s great, honey.”
Ursula explains to him, “So we don’t have to go shopping.”
Noah points out, “Oh c’mon, your mommy can get multiple presents.”
He opens the door and ushers her in, adding, “Let’s pick out some pretty fabrics for your mommy.”
Ursula groans “Ugh… fine.”
Noah then approaches one of the salesladies, asking, “Excuse me, what fabric do I need for a Kelly Bundy mini-dress?”
She scowls at him and he adds, “It’s for my wife.”
