Noah muses on the ghosts of burned Christmas dinners future at with his in-laws. Meanwhile Ursula suddenly has all kinds of energy now that school is out.
With 2 weeks of school left til Christmas break, Noah puzzles over whether Ursula might be getting up at night, causing her to be tired in the mornings.
It’s December and Noah’s already busy making cookies for Christmas. He also muses on Ursula’s future and talks about price negotiations for band gigs.
Noah talks about Remembrance Day and remembers the time Duke let him tag along on a hunting trip… where Noah was in charge of packing out the empties.
Ursula still hasn’t told Noah what her costume is and he’s going nuts trying to figure it out so he can coordinate his own costume with hers.
Noah talks about Thanksgiving, muses on his mother-in-law Agnes’ terrible cooking, and recounts some of her social climbing schemes and machinations.
Noah’s gonna be glad to get home where the thicker walls are.
Anyway, happy 4th to our American pals!
Noah and Ursula have a Mother’s Day video call with Noah’s mom in Florida, but they have very different agendas for the call.
