He rolls his eyes and says, “Oh… I get it.”
Ruth says, “What?”
He glowers and explains, “Now you’re paying attention to me ’cause I’m useful. But you ignored me on Male Watcher’s Day.”
Ruth backpedals, saying, “No, no, no… it’s just… um…”
Noah says, “Say it.”
Ruth looks uneasy as she recites, “It’s just that I wanted to see you use your big strong muscles.”
Noah grins and says, “Thank you. It’s about time you noticed them.”
Ruth scowls.
