Ursula is still sitting cross-legged in front of the TV with her bowl of sugary cereal. The mystery box sits next to her and Noah stands behind it, perplexed. He asks, “You get a mystery box and you don’t wanna know what’s in it?”
She looks up at him and says, ‘Swear on Mommy’s Bible it’s not a bunch of summer math workbooks and may God strike you bald if you’re lying.”
Noah is unwilling to risk his luscious hair to the wrath of God, so he grimaces and looks away, silent, as Ursula scowls at him. She turns back to the TV and growls, “Yeah… I’m not opening it.”
He pouts, “Oh, c’mon!”
