Ursula’s teacher, Miss Fardemar, is in the teachers’ lounge with Ruth, who is making herself a coffee. She nervously asks, “So… uh… Ruth, what’s your family doing for the summer?”

Ruth replies, “Oh, the usual. We go camping the first week in July, then we relax, hang out by Mom’s pool… also Noah’s got a bunch of wedding band gigs and I want to read a dozen books.”

Miss Fardemar asks, “And Ursula?”

Ruth smiles and explains, “Noah’s got her in a bunch of artsy day camps to keep her busy. Why?”

Miss Fardemar looks at the essay she’s been holding. “Ah… that’s very different from what her writing assignment says.”

Ruth reaches for the essay, snapping, “Gimme that!
