Noah's reaction to Ursula's story is quite opposite to her intended result.
Congratulations, Ursula. There are grown-ass political operatives that still haven’t learned this lesson.

In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of today’s cartoon:

Having finished reading Ursula’s little How Daddy Stole Summer story, Noah smiles and tells her, “Daddy’s proud of you, honey. You worked really hard on your little story.”

Ursula is enraged and yells, “You’re not supposed to be proud! You’re supposed to be sorry and cancel all the day camps so I can watch TV all summer instead!!!”

He grins and pats her on the head, explaining, “Well, honey… today’s the day you learn that sometimes propaganda backfires.”

Ursula is confused, saying, “Huh?”

Noah continues: “In fact, I’m gonna look in the rec guide to see what fall classes they offer for budding authors.” Dismayed, Ursula screams in frustration.
