A Typical Monday

Ursula complains about school while Noah tends to his chickens.
She’s definitely leaving a lot out of the detention story, Noah.

Ursula complains about school while Noah tends to his chickens.

Typical Monday, in other words.

Comic description

In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of today’s cartoon:

Noah is in his chicken run, handfeeding the birds mealworms when Ursula comes up to the side of the cage. Noah says, “Hi honey! How was school?”

Ursula grunts and groans in response. Noah says, “That bad, huh?”

She replies, “We had a math test.”

Ursula scowls and continues, “Then we had stupid social studies about the stupid fur trade. Then at recess Bobby Mackey picked his nose and chased us girls around with the booger on his finger.”

She grits her teeth and adds, “Then they made us run laps in gym class before they made us read about some dumb dead prime minister. Then I got detention for yawning when Miss Fardemar was talking.”

Noah smiles, chicken in hands, and thinks to himself, “I bet there’s more to that than just yawning…” but only says, “So… a typical Monday, then?”
