Noah and Ruth are in bed. He’s happily reading Mojo Magazine and not particularly listening as she babbles on, saying only “Uh huh…” in reply to “Noah, Beryl said Ursula was drawing pictures of setting the school on fire again.”
Ruth is agitated, continuining, “This time with a flamethrower!”
Noah smiles and says, “Cool.”
Ruth is furious and yells, “No! It’s not cool!!!”
Unperturbed, Noah turns to her and replies, “Well, I know that, dear, but ‘hot’ has a whole ‘nother meaning.”
