Inspector Ursula worries what horrors she might witness in the teachers’ lounge.
Also, clearly they haven’t taught her the importance of past/present/future tense consistency yet.

Comic description
In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of today’s cartoon:
Ursula, crouched behind the couch in the teachers’ lounge, is thinking/narrating to herself: “Inspector Ursula hides behind the couch, bracing herself to hear the horrors the teachers might be planning to inflict on us children…”
The interior monologue continues, “…boiling us in their cauldrons, maybe… or feeding us to lions and tigers… or even—gasp!—making us do morning math quizzes!”
As she thinks this, we see her mental picture of two screaming kids being boiled in a giant black cauldron, while a teacher dressed in a black witch’s dress stirs the pot, saying “I said, what’s 6 x 8?”
Next we see Ursula peeking from behind the couch and coffeemaker, thinking, “Inspector Ursula held her breath and sat perfectly still as the sound of cackling teachers got closer and closer… wondering what dark, twisted, evil things she was about to witness.”
We then hear one of the teachers say to another, “OK, OK… Kiss, Marry, Kill: Jason Mamoa, Keanu Reeves, and George Clooney.”
