In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of the comic:
Noah and his drummer are setting up for rehearsal in Noah’s garage. The drummer says, “Pass me the crash.” Noah holds up a China crash cymbal and stays, “This one?”
The drummer replies, “No, the 14 inch.” Ursula enters with a piece of paper and asks Noah, “What’s the capital of Saskatchewan?” Noah replies, “Regina,” then asks the drummer, “This one?” whilst holding up a different cymbal.
The drummer, lugging a rack tom drum, says, “No, the other 14 inch.” Ursula then asks Noah, “What river runs through Saskatoon?” Noah, looking through the various cymbals and not really paying attention, answers “The South Saskatchewan River.” He then holds up another cymbal and hopefully asks the drummer, “This one?” The drummer, setting up the cymbal stands for his kit, answers, “No, the other other 14 inch.”
Ursula then asks “What’s the highest point in Saskatchewan?” Noah, holding another cymbal and finally paying attention and looking at Ursula, says, “There isn’t one, it’s all flat… wait, are you doing homework?” Ursula replies, “Not anymore, all done.”
