Trick or Treating with Noah and Ursula
A funny Father-Daughter Halloween Short Story
Noah and Ursula star in the first episode of the Cartoonist’s new comedy/speculative fiction podcast, Rats vs. Brats: Strange Little Stories from the Mind of Pyra Draculea. It’ll be a biweekly show in which the Cartoonist, Pyra Draculea, writes a short story involving characters from more than one of her comics projects then records herself narrating and voice acting it for a podcast as well as a video with a still illustration and should be posted in the usual podcast spots… just as soon as they get around to processing the submission request.

Of course, if you’d rather just read it, it’s on one of my Substacks: “Trick or Treating with Noah and Ursula: a funny father-daughter Halloween short story”
From the episode description:
Happy Halloween! (Well, close enough, it’s the day before.)
Welcome to the first episode of my new podcast, Rats Vs. Brats: Strange Little Stories from the Mind of Pyra Draculea, in which I narrate strange and funny little short stories I’ve written. Today’s episode, “Trick or Treating With Noah and Ursula” is a short little father-daughter Halloween tale containing characters from 3 of my comic projects: Noah and Ursula from Noah’s Archipelago, Ricky and Myles from Ricky B. the Rock N Roll Rat, and Zamo from Zamo the Destroyer.
Ursula hopes to hide her candy haul from her father to avoid the dreaded “Dad Tax” in which Noah steals her precious peanut butter cups. Along the way, she runs into a few of the neighbors of whom the grownups in her life think Ursula is making up stories.
Meanwhile, Noah’s got band drama to contend with.
