Neat, Honey. Put It Back.

Ursula's math lesson for the day is that 40% off of “put it back” is still “put it back.”
Can’t blame Noah with the way Michael’s dicked us on the Lemax coupon exclusion front this year.

Ursula’s math lesson for the day is that 40% off of “put it back” is still “put it back.”

Comic description

In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of today’s cartoon:

Noah and Ursula are at the craft store (probably Michaels) and Noah is reading the back of a Fiskars paper cutter package in the scrapbooking aisle. He is mulling over two options and thinking, “Hmm… SureCut wire cut line for visibility…” when Ursula comes up, calling out, “Daddy! Look!”

She is carrying a giant Lemax Spooky Town box and giving Noah the “please buy me this” puppy dog eyes. He says, “Neat, honey. Put it back.”

She protests: “But it’s 40% off!”

Noah, uninterested and still reading the back of the Fiskars paper cutter, says, “Uh huh… do you have 230 minus 40% dollars in your pocket?”

Ursula is furious, telling him, “Paying for things is your job.”

Noah replies, “Uh huh… put it back.”
