Noah feels like this has all happened before.
(And he’s right, as this comic operates on sitcom rules where nothing ever changes and time does not progress…)
Comic description
In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of today’s cartoon:
Noah looks at the clock. It’s quarter to three and time for him to go fetch Ursula from her first day of school. He looks anxious and thinks, “Again with the déjà vu… just can’t shake the feeling like I’m stuck in a cycle and nothing every changes…”
While driving to the school, Noah’s worries continue as he thinks, “Like Groundhog Day but for the whole year… same thing over and over again on repeat…”
He greets Ursula at the front gate of the schoolyard fence, smiles, and asks, “So, how was the first day of third grade?”
Ursula groans and scowls in reply. Noah pats her on the back and says, “Aw, c’mon… tell me your new teacher’s name.”
She replies, “Miss Fardemar. But I’m gonna call her Miss Farty Mouth.”
