Also, there sure seem to be a lot of German cookies for a Dane to be making… one supposes he wants the Danish butter cookies to be fresher and will make them next week. Ditto all of these.

Noah is in the kitchen, baking up a storm of different fancy cookies for the holidays. Ursula comes in and Noah says to her, “Hi honey! I made cookies: orange spice, star anise-honey, almond meringues, lebkuchen, apricot kolaches, pfeffernüsse…”
Ursula interrupts him and whines, “Can’t we do regular chocolate chip?”
He answers, “Sure thing. Lemme get you a bowl and some ingredients and the recipe book.”
