Noah’s Shylock Soliloquy

Noah resorts to plagiarism in his own defence.
Leave it to the grown-ups to derail a good show trial with their petty nonsense…

Noah resorts to plagiarism in his own defence.

Comic description

In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of today’s cartoon:

Noah is making a speech in his own defense, heavily borrowing from Shakespeare. He clasps his hands and looks up to the sky and asks, “If you prick me, do I not bleed? If you tickle me, do I not laugh? If you poison me, do I not die?”

Agnes growls, “I wish…”

Ursula whines, “I’m bored, Grandma.”

Both Noah and Agnes ignore Ursula, though, with Noah sneering at Agnes, “There’s a reason I don’t eat your cooking, Agnes.”

Ursula then asks, “What does this have to do with you eating my peanut butter cups?”
