Canada Day Heckling

Ursula heckles Noah during his Canada Day gig
Clearly Noah should have paid for more thorough bouncers to guard the stage.

Ursula rushes the stage and gets her heckle on during Noah’s Canada Day cover band gig.

Happy Canada Day!

Comic description

In case of broken image links or accessibility issues with today’s cartoon, here’s the gist of today’s cartoon:

Noah is onstage during his cover band’s Canada Day festival gig. He is wearing all red with a maple leaf headband and says to the crowd, “Now, this next song is—”

He is interrupted by Ursula, who has rushed the stage to yell, “Free Bird!

Noah chuckles and says to the crowd, “Heh heh… folks, this is my kid, Ursula.”

He turns to Ursula and explains to her, “Honey, it’s Canada Day. Daddy’s only singing Canadian songs today.”

Ursula replies, “OK, fine. Sing ‘Ride the Lightning.'”

Noah tells her, “Uh… Metallica aren’t Canadian, honey.”

Ursula grabs the microphone and addresses the crowd, saying, “All those in favour of Daddy raising my allowance put your hands up!”

We then see the crowd with all their hands up in the air, and Ursula grins and tells Noah, “The people have spoken, Daddy.”

Noah is annoyed and asks, “Shouldn’t you be hanging out with your mommy?”
