Ruth is working at her sewing machine, making a pinkish-wine colored shirt. Ursula, at the corner of the table, says “Mommy, don’t you know they have clothes at the mall?”
Ruth scowls and rolls her eyes. Noah pops his head in the door and tells Ruth, “Remember to make it extra billowy, hon. I’m going for a Robert Plant meets Fabio kinda vibe.”
Meanwhile baby Valerie is playing with blocks on a quilt in the doorway and looks like, despite her young age, she’s already had it with all three of them.
